together to develop the planet - an experiment that, if it
succeeds, could transform the galactic balance of power.

But now terrorists have seized control of Nimbus III.
And when Captain Kirk and the crew of the Enterprise attempt a
dramatic rescue, the discover a threat unlike any they have
ever faced. A threat that will force them to confront the inner
demons of their own, secret pasts - and the forbidden secrets
that lie at the center of the galaxy itself . . .

TREKKIEGUY'S REVIEW

What can I say about this story? It's just not that good.
And the movie wasn't any better.
Just my opinion.

Introducing Spock's half brother was a bad idea,
and what's with a planet IN the Neutral Zone. I was under the
impression that NOBODY is permitted in the zone.
That's what the zone is for: a buffer to keep the two groups apart.
Would it make sense to include planetary systems inside the zone?
There's plenty of empty space for the zone to wander through!

The Neutral Zone has never been adequately described in my opinion
and this story only makes it more confusing.
